Week Day School

All our children, and other children from the surrounding community - even if they do not attend our Churches, are invited to our Week Day School program on Wednesdays following school (4:00-5:00 PM), September through April.  Week Day School provides children with the following: A) A nutritious, tasty snack to begin, B) a full hour of reading, studying, learning and growing in God's Word and the Lutheran Christian faith, and C) a brief time following the education hour of recreation outside Church until parents arrive to pick them up. 

Here is our curriculum for this year (see pictures above): Children in grades 1 and 2 will enjoy the latest version of the time-honored "A Child's Garden of Bible Stories."  Kids in grades 3-5 will enjoy "One Hundred Bible Stories."   6th-graders will receive pre-confirmation instruction.  7th & 8th grade members of St. James will receive confirmation instruction.
